How we handle your information

Plain English, because that is how we work. The Lived Experience Project CIC (TLEP) is the data controller for anything you share with us through this site.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, organisation name, website, social media handles, the type of organisation you are, and your message.

Why we collect it

We use it to research your brand and prepare a proposal for you. That research looks only at publicly available information: your website, your public social profiles, and public business records such as Companies House filings.

Our lawful basis

How long we keep it

If we do not end up working together, or your enquiry goes quiet, we remove it after 30 days. If we do work together, we keep what we need for as long as we are working with you.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or erase it completely, including everything gathered during research. We will act on erasure requests promptly and confirm when it is done. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we have handled your data badly.

Who to contact

Email info@tleproject.org for anything on this page: questions, corrections, erasure requests, all of it.
